SO, true to Molly's email, I do like being held accountable for my scores. Because that helps me care about them more. I actually think about this motivation thing a lot: is it better to be motivated as part of a team, or as an individual, for yourself? My motivation definitely comes from both of these, and also has a component of antagonist-motivation - any time someone says i can't do something, that makes it a lot more rewarding to do it.
Anyway, I'm not proud of these scores, except for the run time, since my long runs are at a pretty easy pace.
Situps: 37; 37 Pushups (ughhhh i used to be ok at these, man, i need to catch the eff up): 16;16 Air squats: 31;36
Run time: 23:58 (course was 3.00 miles, but it was a moderately hilly one around Hanover - I was pretty pleased with my just-barely sub-eight mile time).
So. Going to work on that strength. Pullups are still ok though!
Not terrible but there is alot of room for improvement. I'm currently spreading Whole Foods pesto on a baguette and I'm going to eat the entire thing. Yummmmy
Situps 33 both times, Pushups 25, 21, but I looked at the ground instead of looking up.
I haven't done the 3 mile thing yet because I did my hair and couldn't sweat this weekend. I meant to run on the treadmill after work, but then Bubba had to go get his friend who was in an accident, so I ran home from work instead since I didn't have a car. But I did over 7 miles in under and hour, so I was pretty happy with that. I'll post my 3 mile time tomorrow. And I'll do squats.
situps- 31, 33 pushups 23, 21 (i know how you feel maddy i used to be a push up baller shot caller) squats...oops 3 mile- i think it was a little bit more than three miles but since I am not sure i will pretend it wasnt. 29:08
